Rear Active Stabilizer Control Ecu: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SIDE LH  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SIDE RH  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE TOOL BOX  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU COVER 
    1. Disconnect the clamp from the cover.
    2. Remove the 4 nuts and ECU cover.

  7. REMOVE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU 
    1. Using the procedures below, disconnect the 2 ECU connectors.
      1. Release the lever's lock. (*1)
      2. Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
      3. Disconnect the ECU connector. (*3)
        NOTE: When disconnecting the ECU connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
    2. Remove the 2 clamps and packing, and move the disconnected side of the wire harness out of the vehicle.
    3. Remove the 3 nuts and ECU.
