DTC Check/Clear

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Prepare an intelligent tester and CAN VIM.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to DLC3.
    3. Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the intelligent tester main switch ON.
    4. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
    5. Using the intelligent tester, check DTCs and note them down (For further details, see the intelligent tester's instruction book.).
  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Turn the tester ON.
    4. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC INFO / CLEAR CODES.
    5. Press the YES button.
