Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION ).

CHECK PUMP MOTOR OPERATION
1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the skid control ECU (S37) connector.
3. Depress the brake pedal more than 20 times.
4. Check pump motor operation.
  OK: Pump motor normally operates.
NG: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID

OK: Go to Next Step

RECONFIRM DTC

Turn the ignition switch off.
Reconnect the skid control ECU (S37) connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
Check if the same DTC is detected (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
