Register Transmitter ID (Using Intelligent Tester)

  1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels (including spare tire) to pressure specified on the tire and loading information label.
  2. Connect the intelligent tester to DLC3 (located under left side of instrument panel).
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  4. Using intelligent tester, select the registration mode "MAIN" (or select "2nd" when registering in 2nd).
  5. Read and record the transmitter ID by using the DATA LIST. See Fig 1.
  6. Input the IDs (ID1 to ID5) using the intelligent tester and transmit them to the tire pressure warning ECU. See Fig 1.
  7. Set ID transmission condition to "COMPLETE".
NOTE: If steps  57 are not completed within 5 minutes, the mode will return to the normal operation mode.

Confirmation Of Transmitter ID Registration: 

  1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels (including spare tire) to specification.
  2. Connect the intelligent tester to DLC3.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  4. Following the display on the intelligent tester, select the "DATA LIST".
  5. Read the "TIREPRESS" values.
  6. Confirm that the tire pressure data of all tires (including the spare tire) is displayed on the intelligent tester screen.
  7. It may take about 2 or 3 minutes to update the tire pressure data. If the values are not displayed after a few minutes, perform troubleshooting according to the inspection procedure for DTCs C2121/21 to C2125/25.
