Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Removal

HINT:

Use the same procedures for LH and RH.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH 
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY 
   NOTE:

   • Removal operation concerning the seat belt with the pretensioner must be started when 90 seconds or more have passed after the ignition switch is turned OFF and the battery negative terminal is disconnected.
   • Carefully read the notices for the "pretensioner" in the SRS airbag system section and the front seat outer belt assembly section.
   1. Remove the nut and the outer belt on the shoulder anchor side.
   2. Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.
   3. Disconnect the tension reducer connector.
   4. Remove the 2 bolts on the retractor side and thoroughly remove the outer belt assembly.
