Problem Symptoms Table
HINT:
- If a normal system code is displayed during the DTC check but the problem still occurs, check the circuits for each problem symptom in the order given in the table below and proceed to the relevant troubleshooting information.
- Inspect the fuse before inspecting the suspected areas as shown in the table below.
- Inspect each malfunction circuit in numerical order for the corresponding symptom.
- If the malfunction still exists even after checking and confirming that all the circuits are normal, replace the suspension control ECU.
KINETIC DYNAMIC SUSPENSION SYSTEM
PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
| Symptom | Suspected Area | Information |
|---|---|---|
| The right and left sides of the vehicle are not level. | Accumulator solenoid valve circuit | ACCUMULATOR SOLENOID VALVE CIRCUIT |
| System fluid pressure | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Charge fluid and bleed air | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Stabilizer control with bracket valve assembly | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| The vehicle rolls excessively during driving. | Accumulator solenoid valve circuit | DTC C1831/31, C1832/32: ACCUMULATOR SOLENOID MALFUNCTION/UPSIDE; ACCUMULATOR SOLENOID MALFUNCTION/DOWNSIDE |
| Suspension fluid pressure leak | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Disconnection or permanent deformation of bushes | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Charge fluid and bleed air | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Front speed sensor circuit | DTC C1776/76, C1794/94, C1795/95: SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT; FRONT SPEED SENSOR RH CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION; FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION | |
| Steering angle sensor circuit | DTC C1777/77: STEERING ANGLE SENSOR CIRCUIT | |
| Skid control ECU | REMOVAL | |
| Acceleration sensor circuit | DTC C1811/11 ACCELERATION SENSOR MALFUNCTION | |
| Stabilizer control with bracket valve assembly (*1) | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Stabilizer control cylinder (*2) | SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ KDSS) | |
| Stabilizer control ECU | STABILIZER CONTROL ECU (W/ KDSS) | |
| There is trouble with the KDSS indicator light. | KDSS indicator light circuit | INDICATOR CIRCUIT |
| Stabilizer control ECU | STABILIZER CONTROL ECU (W/ KDSS) | |
| HINT: *1: Replace the stabilizer control with bracket valve assembly, as the valve may be malfunctioning. *2: Replace the front and rear cylinders, as there may be fluid leaks from the upper/lower chambers of the cylinder. |
