Ignition Coil: Installation

  1. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.

  2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY (See Step 13 in  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE 
    1. Connect the ventilation hose to the cylinder head cover with the clamp.

  5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See Step 116 in  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See Step 117 in  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See Step 118 in  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See Step 115 in  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
    NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
