DTC Check/Clear

  1. CHECK FOR DTCS 
    1. Prepare the intelligent tester.
    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 at the lower part of the instrument panel.

      (c) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester on.

    3. Use the intelligent tester to check for DTCs and the freeze frame data, and note or print the result (see the operator's manual for operating instructions).
    4. Confirm the details of the DTCs (See FAIL-SAFE TABLE  ).
  2. CLEAR DTCS 
    1. Operate the intelligent tester to clear the DTCs and freeze frame data (see the operator's manual for operating instructions).
