Outer Rear View Mirror: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  2. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See Step 2 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  3. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See Step 3 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See Step 4 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (See Step 8 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER (See Step 9 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  7. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH (See Step 10 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  8. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU (w/Memory) (See Step 13 in  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
  9. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR PROTECTOR 
    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the outer mirror protector.

      HINT:

      Remove the remaining tape on the door.

  10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the outer rear view mirror assembly.
