Light Control Rheostat: Inspection

INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
E (J15-1) - RV (J15-4)	Light control rheostat position Is MIN.	Below 1 Ω
E (J15-1) - RV (J15-4)	Light control rheostat position Is between MIN. and MAX.	8 to 12 kΩ
E (J15-1) - RV (J15-4)	ODO/TRIP switch is OFF	10 kΩ or higher
E (J15-1) - RV (J15-4)	ODO/TRIP switch is ON	Below 1 Ω
T (J15-2) - TC (J15-3)	Rheostat knob is in the MIN. position	Below 1 Ω
T (J15-2) - TC (J15-3)	Rheostat knob is in the MAX. position	10 kΩ or higher
