GENERAL MAINTENANCE

HINT: Inspect these items on a cooled down engine.

1. INSPECT DRIVE BELT
2. REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER
(a) Replace engine oil and oil filter.

3. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT
(a) Check and replace engine coolant.

4. INSPECT EXHAUST PIPES AND MOUNTINGS
(a) Visually check the pipes, hangers and connections for severe corrosion, leaks or damage.

5. INSPECT AIR CLEANER FILTER
(a) Remove the air cleaner filter.
(b) Visually check that the air cleaner filter is not excessively damaged or oily.
(c) Reinstall the air cleaner filter with a new one, if necessary.

6. INSPECT FUEL LINES AND CONNECTIONS, FUEL TANK VAPOR VENT SYSTEM HOSES AND FUEL TANK BAND
(a) Visually check the fuel lines for cracks, leakage, loose connections, deformation or tank band looseness.

7. INSPECT FUEL TANK CAP GASKET
8. REPLACE SPARK PLUGS
