Knock Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT KNOCK SENSOR




a. Measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard resistance: 120 k to 280 kohms at 20 °C (68 °F)

If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
