How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the power mirror control system.
- *: Use the intelligent tester or Techstream.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- INSPECT ELECTRIC POWER CONTROL SYSTEM*
- Using the intelligent tester or Techstream, check the electric power control system's load control history (see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
- CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
- Use the intelligent tester or Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
