Fuel Relief Valve: Installation

INSTALL FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY
1. Install a new gasket to the relief valve.

2. Using a 14 mm deep socket wrench, install the relief valve to the No. 2 delivery pipe.
  Torque: 29 N*m (296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Do not apply oil to the threads of the relief valve and delivery pipe.
  - Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during the installation.
3. Install the No. 1 fuel pipe sub-assembly.
4. Connect the No. 3 fuel hose.

INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the engine cover to the engine.

INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD
1. Install the intake manifold (see INSTALLATION ).
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
