Steering Wheel Audio Control Switch Check

- A SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION CHECK
- Start A switch self-diagnosis function. Refer to "A SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION ".
- Operate steering wheel audio control switch.
Does steering wheel audio control switch operate normally?
- OK: INSPECTION END.
- NG: GO TO 2.
- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect A switch connector and spiral cable connector.
- Check continuity between spiral cable harness connector terminals and A switch harness connector terminals. CHECK CONTINUITY

- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: Repair harness.
- SPIRAL CABLE CHECK
Check spiral cable harness.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4.
- NG: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "SPIRAL CABLE " .
- Check Steering Wheel Audio Control Switch Resistance
Check resistance steering wheel audio control switch terminals.

OK or NG
- OK: Replace A switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR A SWITCH ".
- NG: Replace steering wheel audio control switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCHES ".
