Shoulder Belt Anchorage Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH (for LH Side) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH (FOR LH SIDE)

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (UL) - 3 (UP) UP Below 1 Ω
      1 (DW) - 3 (UP) UP 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (DW) - 2 (UL) DOWN Below 1 Ω
      2 (UL) - 3 (UP) DOWN 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

  2. INSPECT HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH (for RH Side) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE ANCHOR SWITCH (FOR RH SIDE)

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (UL) -1 (UP) UP Below 1 Ω
      3 (DW) -1 (UP) UP 10 kΩ or higher
      3 (DW) -2 (UL) DOWN Below 1 Ω
      2 (UL) -1 (UP) DOWN 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
