Front Stabilizer Bar: Inspection
- INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
- Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration.
- Temporarily install the nut, use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Standard turning torque:
1.96 N*m (20 kgf*cm, 17 in.*lbf) or less
If the value is not within the specified range, replace the rear suspension toe control link with a new one.
- Check the dust boot for cracks or grease leakage.
