Front Stabilizer Bar: Removal
- REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
- Remove the 8 bolts and the No. 2 engine under cover.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link.
HINT:
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
- Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the 2 screws and the engine under cover sub-assembly LH from the front suspension member reinforcement LH.
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH
- Remove the 2 screws and the engine under cover rear LH.
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH
HINT:
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH
- Remove the 2 bolts and the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the front suspension crossmember.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH
HINT:
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR
- Remove the front stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH
- Remove the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes from the front stabilizer bar.
- REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT LH
- Remove the 4 bolts and front suspension member reinforcement LH from the vehicle.
- REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER REINFORCEMENT RH
HINT:
Remove the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
