Data List / Active Test

  1. READ DATA LIST 

    HINT:

    Using the intelligent tester or Techstream to read the DATA LIST allows values or status of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the DATA LIST information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.

    NOTE: In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.
    1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) or Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
    3. Enter the following menus.
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD / MOBD / (desired system) / DATA LIST / ALL /
      2. Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Data List /
    4. According to the display on tester, read the "DATA LIST" or "Data List".
      1. Intelligent tester

        MAIN BODY: 

        INTELLIGENT TESTER - MAIN BODY

        COM D-DOOR MTR Connection status between power window regulator motor (for driver side) and main body ECU / OK or STOP OK: Connection

        COM P-DOOR MTR Connection status between power window regulator motor (for front passenger side) and main body ECU / OK or STOP OK: Connection
        STOP: No connection        		 When there is malfunction, DTC is output
        COM RR-DOOR MTR Connection status between power window regulator motor (for rear RH) and main body ECU / OK or STOP OK: Connection
        STOP: No connection        		 When there is malfunction, DTC is output
        COM RL-DOOR MTR Connection status between power window regulator motor (for rear LH) and main body ECU / OK or STOP OK: Connection
        STOP: No connection        		 When there is malfunction, DTC is output
        COM SLIDE ROOF Connection status between sliding roof ECU and main body ECU / OK or STOP OK: Connection
        STOP: No connection        		 When there is malfunction, DTC is output
        COM MASTER SW Connection status between power window ECU (master switch) and main body ECU / OK or STOP OK: Connection
        STOP: No connection        		 When there is malfunction, DTC is output

        BODY No. 5 (Front Controller): 

        INTELLIGENT TESTER - BODY NO. 5 (FRONT CONTROLLER)
