Inspection Procedure

Refer to CAN communication system (U0122, see DTC U0122 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL MODULE ).

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
   1. for Intelligent Tester:
      1. Select "BUS CHECK" from the "OBD/MOBD MENU" (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )
      2. Press "ENTER" on the intelligent tester (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )
   2. for Techstream:
      1. Select "Bus Check" from the "System Select" (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )
      2. Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter" (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )

         OK: CAN communication system DTC is not output. 

   NG: GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )

   OK: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
