Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When the front millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed (see REMOVAL ).

CHECK FRONT MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR

Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / RADAR CRUISE /. Then select "DATA LIST".
Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise /. The select "Data List".

Read the DATA LIST and check the country specification information of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and vehicle.

HINT:

The country specification information of the driving support ECU is decided by the combination meter. Even if the country specification information for vehicle and sensor match, if the country specification information for the vehicle and ECU/meter do not match, it is necessary to replace the ECU and meter.
When the country specification information (North America ↔ Europe) for the vehicle and sensor do not match, the sensor's information can be overwritten by performing the sensor's axis adjustment.
