Radio Receiver: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Install the bracket with the 4 bolts.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Install the bracket with the 4 bolts.

  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the panel.
  4. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Connect the connectors.

    3. Insert the radio receiver and attach the 4 clips on its backside.
      NOTE: When inserting the radio receiver, do not press the knobs on it.

    4. Install the radio receiver with the 2 bolts.

  5. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL UPPER  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  12. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
