Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the RR MPX-B 1 and RR-ACC fuses from the rear junction block.
2. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   RR MPX-B 1 fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω
   RR-ACC fuse	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPLACE FUSE 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Disconnect the R30 controller connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R30-12 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   R30-1 (+B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
   R30-6 (ACC) - Body ground	Engine switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
