Stereo Component Amplifier: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

1. INSTALL NO. 2 AMPLIFIER BRACKET 
   1. Set the bracket's aligning protrusions labeled A into the amplifier's holes.

   2. Install the bracket with the 2 screws labeled B.
2. INSTALL NO. 1 AMPLIFIER BRACKET 
   1. Set the bracket's aligning protrusions labeled A into the amplifier's holes.

   2. Install the bracket with the 2 screws labeled B.
3. INSTALL STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
   1. Install the amplifier with the 4 nuts.

      HINT:

      Tighten the nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

   2. Connect the connector.
4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH  (See INSTALLATION )
5. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See INSTALLATION )
6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT  (See INSTALLATION )
7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 2 TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler)  (See INSTALLATION )
8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 LIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE  (See INSTALLATION )
10. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH  (See INSTALLATION )
11. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
12. INSTALL ROPE HOOK  (See INSTALLATION )
13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
15. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
16. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
       NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
