Outer Rear View Mirror: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See REMOVAL )
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
   CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
   NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG  (See REMOVAL )
4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
5. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH  (See REMOVAL )
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
7. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU  (See REMOVAL )
8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER  (See REMOVAL )
9. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Detach the 3 clamps.
   3. Remove the 3 nuts and mirror.
