Customize Parameters

  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM 

    HINT:

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that customize of the function is possible.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus:
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: CUSTOMIZE /
      2. Techstream - Select: Customize Setting /
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      1. Intelligent tester

        DOOR LOCK 

        INTELLIGENT TESTER - DOOR LOCK

        Display (Item) Default Contents Setting
        AUTO UNLK/SHIFT (Unlock w/ engine switch on (IG), shift P, speed 0 km/h (0 mph)) ON Function that unlocks all doors when lever is shifted to P from any position other than P while the engine switch is on (IG) ON/OFF
        ALL UNLK/OPN-CL (All unlock w/ D door open-close) OFF Function that unlocks all other doors when opening driver door within 10 seconds after turning the engine switch is on (IG) ON/OFF
        UNLK/KEY TWICE (Unlock w/ 2 times D key operation) ON Function that unlocks only driver side door when driver side door key cylinder is turned to unlock once, and unlock all doors when it is turned to unlock twice. For OFF setting, turning it once unlocks all doors. ON/OFF
        AUTO LOCK/SHIFT (Auto lock/shift not P) ON*1
        OFF*2        		 With engine running and all doors closed, function that locks all doors when lever is shifted to P from any position other than P ON/OFF
        AUTO LOCK OFF*1
        ON*2        		 Function that locks all doors when vehicle speed reaches a certain level ON/OFF

      2. Techstream

        Door Lock 

        TECHSTREAM - DOOR LOCK

        Display (Item) Default Contents Setting
        Auto Unlock/Shift (Unlock w/ engine switch on (IG), shift P, speed 0 km/h (0 mph)) ON Function that unlocks all doors when lever is shifted to P from any position other than P while the engine switch is on (IG) ON/OFF
        All Unlock/Open-Close (All unlock w/ D door open-close) OFF Function that unlocks all other doors when opening driver door within 10 seconds after turning the engine switch is on (IG) ON/OFF
        Unlock Key Twice (Unlock w/ 2 times D key operation) ON Function that unlocks only driver side door when driver side door key cylinder is turned to unlock once, and unlock all doors when it is turned to unlock twice. For OFF setting, turning it once unlocks all doors. ON/OFF
