How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the wireless door lock control system.
- *: Use the intelligent tester or Techstream.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART ).
- Delete the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Recheck for DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
). Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same CAN communication system DTC, LIN communication system DTC or wireless door lock control system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
