Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
- When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of the linear solenoid valve and calibration (see INITIALIZATION ).
- If the ECM has been replaced, it is necessary to register the ECU (see REGISTRATION ).
- CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU AND ECM)
- Check that the proper skid control ECU and ECM are installed.
NG: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU AND ECM WITH PROPER ONES
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Check if the same DTC is recorded (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR
).
HINT:
Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs.
