Dual Proportioning Valve

NOTE: Depress brake pedal slowly when raising brake fluid pressure.

Raise and support vehicle. Remove front left tire. Using 2 pressure gauges, attach one to a front brake bleeder and one to a rear brake bleeder. Bleed air from front and rear pressure gauges. Depress brake pedal slowly until front brake pressure reading is achieved. Check rear brake pressure. See DUAL PROPORTIONING VALVE PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS  table. If not within specification, replace master cylinder assembly.
