DTC B1231 Jam Protection Limit Switch Circuit on Driver Door: Wiring Diagram

HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start from *1. When not using the intelligent tester, start from *2.

1. CHECK FOR DTC *1 
   1. Delete the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ).
   2. Recheck for the DTC when the power window is lowered from the fully closed position to half opened position.

      OK: DTC B1231 is not output. 

   OK: NO PROBLEM (IT IS SUSPECTED THAT DTC WAS DETECTED BY ECU WITH ANY FAILURE IN PAST) 

   NG: Go To Next Step 

2. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (JAM PROTECTION LIMIT SWITCH) 
   1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
   2. Check the jam protection limit switch using the DATA LIST.

   OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

   NG: Go To Next Step 

3. INSPECT FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (JAM PROTECTION LIMIT SWITCH) *2 
   1. Refer to motor inspection (see POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR  ).

   NG: REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 

   OK: Go To Next Step 

4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - JAM PROTECTION LIMIT SWITCH) 
   1. Refer to inspection (see INSPECTION  ).

   NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

   OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
