Brake Actuator: Removal
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE (See REMOVAL )
- DRAIN BRAKE FLUID NOTE: If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash or remove it completely.
- DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
- REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET
- Remove the bolt from the air conditioner tube bracket and separate the wire harness clamp and air conditioner tube clamp.
- Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the brake actuator with brake actuator bracket.
SST 09023-00101
- Use tags or make a memo to identify the places to reconnect.
HINT:
- *1: To Front Wheel Cylinder RH
- *2: To Front Wheel Cylinder LH
- *3: To Rear Wheel Cylinder RH
- *4: To Rear Wheel Cylinder LH
- *5: From 2nd Master Cylinder
- *6: From 1st Master Cylinder
- Pull the lock lever upward.
- Disconnect the actuator connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts, the nut, and the brake actuator with brake actuator bracket.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the brake tubes and wire harness.
- REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR
- Remove the 2 nuts and the brake actuator assembly from the brake actuator bracket.
