DTC P0705 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Malfunction (PRNDL Input): Description
The park/neutral position switch detects the shift lever position and sends signals to the ECM.

positions.
- When any of following conditions for 0.5 sec. or more in the S position (2-trip detection logic)*2
- NSW input signal is ON.
- P input signal is ON.
- N input signal is ON.
- R input signal is ON.
- All switches are OFF simultaneously for P, R, N, D, 3*1
and 2*1
positions (2-trip detection logic)
- Both 1 and 2 are met (2-trip detection logic)*1
- One of following is met
- NSW input signal is ON.
- P input signal is ON.
- N input signal is ON.
- R input signal is ON
- One of following is met
- 4 input signal is ON.
- L input signal is ON.
