VVT Sensor: Removal

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE VVT SENSOR
- Bank 1 side VVT sensor:
- Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
- Bank 2 side VVT sensor:
- Disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose.
- Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
