Inspection Procedure
HINT:
- DTC P2610 is set if an internal ECM (included in the HV control ECU) problem is detected. Diagnostic procedures are not required. ECM replacement is required.
- Read freeze frame data using the intelligent tester. The ECM records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, if the air-fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data, from the time the malfunction occurred.
- REPLACE HV CONTROL ECU
- CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS
- Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Start the engine and wait for 10 minutes or more.
- On the tester, enter the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC / INFO / PENDING CODEs.
- If no pending DTC is displayed, the repair has been successfully completed.
