Inspection Procedure

HINT:

• DTC P2610 is set if an internal ECM (included in the HV control ECU) problem is detected. Diagnostic procedures are not required. ECM replacement is required.
• Read freeze frame data using the intelligent tester. The ECM records vehicle and driving condition information as freeze frame data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, if the air-fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data, from the time the malfunction occurred.

1. REPLACE HV CONTROL ECU 
2. CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS 
   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
   2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
   3. Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
   4. Start the engine and wait for 10 minutes or more.
   5. On the tester, enter the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC / INFO / PENDING CODEs.
   6. If no pending DTC is displayed, the repair has been successfully completed.
