Fuel Injector: Removal
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER NO.2 (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE (See REMOVAL )
- DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) (See COOLANT (for Engine) )
- REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH INLET (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE WITH RESONATOR (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE EMISSION CONTROL VALVE SET (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1
- Remove the bolt and separate the fuel pipe No.1 (A).
- Remove the fuel pressure pulsation damper and the 2 gaskets (B).
- Remove the fuel pipe No.2 union bolt and the 2 gaskets (C).
- REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the 6 fuel injector connectors.
- Remove the 4 bolts, and then remove the 2 fuel delivery pipes together with the 6 fuel injectors.NOTE: Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the fuel delivery pipe.
- Remove the 4 delivery pipe No.1 spacers (A) and the 6 insulators (B) from the intake manifold.
- Pull out the fuel injector from the fuel delivery pipe.
- Remove the O-ring and grommet from the fuel injector.
