Inspection Procedure

1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Check the CRUISE main indicator light by using ACTIVE TEST.

   CRUISE INDIC	Cruise indicator light/ON or OFF	Confirm that vehicle is stopped and engine is idling

   OK: 

   Indicator light illuminates/turns off. 

NG: GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ) 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON and the intelligent tester main switch ON.
3. Select the item below in the DATA LIST and read the display on the intelligent tester.

   ECM (cruise control)

   When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the standard values will be above. 

NG: REPLACE ECM 

OK: END
