System Description

KEY REMINDER WARNING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
When the driver door is opened with the ignition switch on ACC or OFF, the system sounds a buzzer to warn the driver that the key has not been removed from the ignition key cylinder.

Components	Function
Front Door Courtesy Light Switch LH	Detects front door status (open or closed) and outputs signal to multiplex network front door ECU LH (driver door ECU)
Unlock Warning Switch	Detects if key is inserted into ignition key cylinder and outputs signal to transponder key ECU
Combination Meter	Receives buzzer request signal from transponder key ECU (after transponder key ECU receives ignition switch signal and front door courtesy light switch signal), then combination meter actuates inner circuit to sound built-in multi-buzzer intermittently
Multiplex Network Door ECU Front LH (Driver Door ECU)	Sends front door courtesy light switch signals to theft warning ECU
Transponder Key ECU	Sends unlock warning switch signals to theft warning ECU
Theft Warning ECU	Receives signal from multiplex network front door ECU LH and transponder key ECU, and sends signal to combination meter to sound or not sound buzzer
