Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the D17, D18 and D19 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU CONNECTORS TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (D19-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Q
      CPUB (D19-4) - GND (D19-1) L-O - W-B +B (CPUB) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (D19-5) - GND (D19-1) V-W - W-B +B (SIG) power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      SIG (D19-5) - GND (D19-1) V-W - W-B +B (SIG) power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      BDR (D19-6) - GND (D19-1) B-R - W-B +B (BDR) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      A+ (D18-6) - A- (D18-5) L-R - L-B
      • Door lock motor LOCK drive output
      • Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output
      Always Below 1 Ω
      LSW (D18-3) - CPSE (D18-20) B-R-L Door lock position switch input Door lock knob LOCK 10 kΩ or higher
      LSW (D18-3) - CPSE (D18-20) B - R-L Door lock position switch input Door lock knob UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
      KL (D18-13) - CPSE (D18-20) L-B - R-L Door key-linked door lock input Using the key, operate the driver's door lock cylinder OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      KL (D18-13) - CPSE (D18-20) L-B - R-L Door key-linked door lock input Using the key, operate the driver's door lock cylinder LOCK Below 1 Ω
      KUL (D18-4) - CPSE (D18-20) L-W - R-L Door key-linked door unlock input Using the key, operate the driver's door lock cylinder OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      KUL (D18-4) - CPSE (D18-20) L-W - R-L Door key-linked door unlock input Using the key, operate the driver's door lock cylinder UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
      ML (D17-8) - PWE (D17-29) W-Y Door control switch (master switch) LOCK input Door control switch (manual operation) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      ML (D17-8) - PWE (D17-29) W-Y Door control switch (master switch) LOCK input Door control switch (manual operation) LOCK Below 1 Ω
      MUL (D17-19) - PWE (D17-29) W-R-Y Door control switch (master switch) UNLOCK input Door control switch (manual operation) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      MUL (D17-19) - PWE (D17-29) W-R-Y Door control switch (master switch) UNLOCK input Door control switch (manual operation) UNLOCK Below 1 Ω
      CTY (D17-27) - GND (D19-1) R-W - W-B Driver door courtesy switch input Driver's door CLOSED 10 kΩ or higher
      CTY (D17-27) - GND (D19-1) R-W - W-B Driver door courtesy switch input Driver's door OPEN Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Connect the D17, D18 and D19 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      ECU CONNECTORS TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      3. Below 1 V
      A- (D18-5) - GND (D19-1) L-B - W-B Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output Door control switch (manual operation, key lock-in prevention) 1: OFF → 2: UNLOCK → 3: OFF
      1. Below 1 V
      2. 10 to 14 V (0.1 seconds)
      3. Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the ECU.

  2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU RH (PASSENGER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P9, P10 and P11 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU CONNECTORS TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      SIG (P11-5) - GND (P11-1) V-W - W-B +B (SIG) power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      SIG (P11-5) - GND (P11-D V-W - W-B +B (SIG) power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      BDR (P11-6) - GND (P11-D G-Y - W-B +B (BDR) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      A+ (P10-6) - A- (P10-5) L-R - L-B
      • Door lock motor LOCK drive output
      • Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output
      Always Below 1 Ω
      LSW (P10-3) - CPSE (P10-20) B - R - L Door lock position switch input Door lock knob LOCK 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P9, P10 and P11 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      A- (P10-5) - GND (P11-1) L-B - W-B Door lock motor UNLOCK drive output Door control switch (manual operation, key lock-in prevention) 1: OFF → 2: UNLOCK → 3: OFF
      1. Below 1 V
      2. 10 to 14 V (0.1 seconds)
      3. Below 1V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the ECU.

  3. CHECK THEFT WARNING ECU

    1. Disconnect the T7 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      ECU CONNECTORS TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      GND (T7-20) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      +B2 (T7-21) - GND (T6-20) B-O - W-B +B (+B2) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      IG (T7-24) - GND (T6-20) V-W - W-B IG power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      IG (T7-24) - GND (T6-20) V-W - W-B IG power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      +B (T7-1) - GND (T6-20) L-O - W-B +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the ECU.

  4. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU

    1. Disconnect the T13 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      ECU CONNECTORS TERMINALS REFERENCE CHART

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the ECU.
