Inspection Procedure

1. Check that the A/C switch can operate the A/C normally.

   OK: A/C switch can operate the A/C normally. 

OK: REPLACE A/C AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY 

NG: Go to next step. 

1. Disconnect the A10 amplifier connector.

2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

   Standard voltage 

   VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   A10-8 (+B) - Body ground	10 to 14 V

   Standard resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   A10-14 (GND) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step. 

1. Disconnect the A9 and A10 amplifier connectors.
2. Disconnect the P6 ECU connector.

3. Disconnect the T9 receiver connector.
4. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   A10-13 (MPX+) - P6-4 (MPX-)	Below 1 Ω
   A9-10 (MPX-) - T9-3 (MPX2)	Below 1 Ω

   Result 

   RESULT CHART
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   Both are OK	A
   One is OK	B
   Both are NG	C

B: REPLACE A/C AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY AND REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

C: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
