Quarter Window Glass: Removal

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the RH side.

1. OPEN ROOF PANEL HALFWAY

   1. Refer to the MANUAL OPERATING procedures and half open the roof.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
4. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE (See  REMOVAL  ) 
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
8. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (See  DISASSEMBLY  ) 
9. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
10. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP RH 
    1. Using a clip remover, detach the 4 clips.
    2. Remove the weatherstrip.

11. REMOVE QUARTER BELT MOULDING RH 
    1. Using a moulding remover, remove the moulding.

12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP 
    1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips.
    2. Remove the front part of the door weatherstrip.

13. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
14. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the connector and grommet.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 4 nuts.
    3. Remove the quarter window.

15. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW STOP 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 window stops.

16. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws, regulator base plate and regulator motor.

17. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. When reusing the regulator:

       Place matchmarks on the regulator to indicate the position of the nuts.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and quarter window.
