Inspection Procedure
- CHECK DLC3 (TC VOLTAGE)
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Measure the voltage of the DLC3.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition D1-13 (TC) - Body ground 10 to 14 V
NG: Go to step 3
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
Result
RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output 8
B: REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS
A: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
- Check the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - ECM)

- Disconnect the E6 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition D1-13 (TC) - E5-3 (TC) Below 1 Ω D1-13 (TC) - Body ground 1 MΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition D1-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
Result
RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B
B: REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS
A: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
- Check the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
