Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Inspection
- INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
- Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 3 Seat belt is fastened Below 1 Ω 1 - 3 Seat belt is unfastened 1M Ω or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
- Check the front seat inner illumination (see INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.

- Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 2 - 5 Seat belt is fastened 320 to 340 Ω 1 - 2 Seat belt is unfastened 1,300 to 1,360 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
- Check the front seat inner illumination (see INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
- INSPECT OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR
- Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Apply more than 147 N (15 kg, 33 lbf) to occupant detection sensor 50 kΩ or lower 1 - 2 Seat belt is unfastened Above 50 kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
- Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
