Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK SKID CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the S5, S6, S7 and S8 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      +BI (S7-17) - Body ground B - Body ground +BI power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      IG1 (S7-6) - Body ground R - Body ground IG1 power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      IG1 (S7-6) - Body ground R - Body ground IG1 power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      IG2 (S6-6) - Body ground G-B - Body ground IG2 power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      IG2 (S6-6) - Body ground G-B - Body ground IG2 power supply Ignition switch OFF Below 1 V
      GND1 (S8-31)-Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GND2 (S8-6) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GND3 (S5-22) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GND4(S5-16)-Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the S5, S6, S7 and S8 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the ECU.
      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      SOL+ (S5-14) - GND1 (S8-31) B-Y - W-B Vehicle speed signal input Vehicle speed 0 km/h (0 mph) 6 V
      SOL+ (S5-14) - GND1 (S8-31) B-Y - W-B Vehicle speed signal input Vehicle speed 35 km/h (18.6 mph) 4.4 V
      SOL- (S5-21) - GND1 (S8-31) L - W-B Power steering solenoid valve signal Ignition switch ON Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
