Headlight Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connectors.
    2. Install the headlight assembly with the 3 bolts and screw.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT FENDER SEAL 
  3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL HOOD HINGE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight) 
  8. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
  9. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a headlight aim test machine) (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
  10. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a Screen) (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
  11. HEADLIGHT AIMING INSPECTION (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
  12. HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
  13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (for HID Headlight) 
    NOTE: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal (See INITIALIZATION ).
