Data List / Active Test

  1. READ DATA LIST 

    HINT:

    Using Techstream's DATA LIST allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.

    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    3. Read the DATA LIST.

      Front multiplex network door ECU LH, RH: 

      DATA LIST - FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH, RH

      Mirror Position Sensor V Vertical mirror position / Min.: 0, Max.: 5 V Within 0 to 5 V -
      Mirror Position Sensor H Horizontal mirror position / Min.: 0, Max.: 5 V Within 0 to 5 V -
      Outer Mirror Lock Detect Mirror retract motor lock detection signal / ON or OFF ON: Mirror retract motor lock signal is detected
      OFF: Mirror retract motor lock signal is not detected      		 -

      Integration control and panel assembly:

      OFF: Any switch except DOWN is ON or all switches are OFF      		 -
      Outer Mirror Fold SW Mirror retract switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Switch is ON (retracting)
      OFF: Switch is OFF (returning)      		 -
  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST 

    HINT:

    Performing Techstream's ACTIVE TEST allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST early in the troubleshooting is one way to save time. The DATA LIST can be displayed during the ACTIVE TEST.

    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    3. Perform the ACTIVE TEST by following the directions on the tester screen.

      Front multiplex network door ECU LH, RH:
