FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (w/ Occupant Classification ECU, Occupant Classification Sensor): Removal

  1. PRECAUTION 
    CAUTION: Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing (See PRECAUTION  ).
    NOTE: When replacing the occupant classification ECU, perform registration (See REGISTRATION  ).
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH 
  3. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).

  4. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL )

  5. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL )

  6. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL )

  9. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See DISASSEMBLY )

  10. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See DISASSEMBLY )

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See DISASSEMBLY )

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See DISASSEMBLY )

  13. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH RH 

    HINT

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See DISASSEMBLY )

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  15. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the clamp
      NOTE: Do not kink the pressure hose.

    2. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and occupant classification sensor

  16. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU  (See REMOVAL  )
