Combination Meter: Installation

  1. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Position the combination meter assembly on the steering column as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE: Do not damage the instrument panel safety pad or combination meter assembly.
    2. Connect the connectors.

    3. Engage the 2 positioning pins of the combination meter assembly.
    4. Engage the 2 claws and install the combination meter assembly
    5. Remove the protective tape

  2. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 2 clips

    2. Install the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
