How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT

Use these procedures to troubleshoot the clock system

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

    Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

    If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding

  3. BASIC INSPECTION 
    1. Turn the power switch ON (ACC).
    2. Check whether or not the display appears on the multi-display

    Display appears A
    Display does not appear (w/ Navigation system for DVD) B
    Display does not appear (w/ Navigation system for HDD) C
    Display does not appear (w/o Navigation system) D

    B: Go to NAVIGATION SYSTEM  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

    C: Go to NAVIGATION SYSTEM  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

    D: Go to AUDIO SYSTEM  (see HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

    A: Go to next step 

  4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

    Result

    Result Proceed to
    Fault is not listed in problem symptoms table A
    Fault is listed in problem symptoms table B

    B:  Go to step  6

    A: Go to next step 

  5. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING 
    1. Terminals of ECU (see TERMINALS OF ECU ).
  6. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE
