WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Lexus RX 400h. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - MULTI-DISPLAY)
- Disconnect the multi-display connector M3 and multi-display controller connector R15.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
- INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER (OUTPUT SIGNAL)
- Reconnect the multi-display controller connector R15.
- Measure the waveform according to the table below.
OK
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester connection Condition Specified condition V+ - Body ground DVD display is ON A waveform synchronized with display signals is output HINT:
The waveform pattern may differ from that shown in the illustration below due to differences in oscilloscope setting. A normal multi-display controller operating condition can be determined if any waveform is output.

- Terminal: V+ - Body ground
Setting: 500 mV/DIV 10 [mue] s/DIV
Condition: DVD display is ON.
