Microphone Circuit between Multi-display and Navigation ECU: Wiring Diagram

  1. INSPECT NAVIGATION ECU 
    1. Disconnect the navigation ECU connector N6.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance 

      ECU CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      SNSE - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector M4 and navigation ECU connector N6.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance 

      ECU CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      MCO+ - MIC+ Always Below 1 Ω
      MCO- - MIC- Always Below 1 Ω
      MCO+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MCO- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL INSPECTION FLOW BECAUSE THE CHECK RESULT IS NORMAL
